I’ve Made My Choice

So after apartment hunting for a few weeks now, I’ve made a decision on where to live next. I was really leaning towards renting a town home on Power Road and the US 60, but for the sake of cost and general liking of the place, I’ve decided on Borrego apartment homes in Gilbert. Now the last decision I have to make is which floor plan I want. I’ve looked at both in person twice.

There’s a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with a den that I really like. The kitchen wall is open so it really makes the place look bigger. The den is perfect for my futon and computer desk. And the master bedroom is bigger than the master bedroom in the two bedroom floor plan. But it’s a bit smaller than my apartment now. Also, the bedroom and bathroom aren’t connected, so I’ll have to risk the cats rushing into my bedroom when I need to go to the bathroom at night. And my cats are constantly waiting to dash in as soon as they hear me move in there. Here’s the 1 Bed + Den, 1 Bath Floorplan:

The 2 bed 2 bath floor plan is much spacier and space is nice. The master bedroom connects to the bathroom. The master bathroom is a lot bigger than the first floor plan. And I already have 2 sets of bathroom things (trash cans, shower curtains, floor mats, towels, etc). The second bedroom is great for the futon and computer desk, plus there’s a closet for more storage. Here’s the 2 Bed 2 Bath Floorplan:

So if anyone has an opinion on which one they’d choose and why, I’d love to hear it. The money on these two is not a deciding factor since they’re close in range. I’m going to try and put a deposit down next week and I’m just so unsure of which one to choose.
